Detective Branch (DB) police detained a headmaster in Netrakona in a rape case filed Barhatta police station over violating of eighth grade girl student.
The arrestee was identified as Ain Uddin, Headmaster of Hazi Gonj High School under Barhatta upazila of the district.
On secret information, a team of DB police led by its Officer-in-Charge Shanoor Alam, launched a drive at BADC Firm area and arrested the headmaster when he was running way just after filing the case against him.
DB Police quoting locals and the version of written FIR, the said headmaster allegedly sexually harassed girl students for long. In the month of January last, he reportedly called an eighth grade girl student in his office room through his staff means Daftary and taken her in booth room and not only sexually harassed but also raped against her will and showing death threats and the said head teacher also threat her not to disclosed the matter to others which was disclosed to parent by the victim girl.
In June 09, 2019, the victim filed a case accusing headmaster Ain Uddin.
It may be noted here that, another on girl student also filed another case claiming rape charge accusing Ain Uddin.
