The two-day Half-Yearly Business Conference of Social Islami Bank Limited for the year 2019 was concluded at Le Meridien Dhaka on Saturday.
Professor Md. Anwarul Azim Arif, Chairman of the Bank and former Vice Chancellor of Chattagram University inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Quazi Osman Ali chaired the programme.
Directors of the Bank Md. Sayedur Rahman and M. Kamal Uddin were present as guests of honour. The Chairman of the Bank has suggested some forward looking business strategies for the comprehensive growth of the bank and urged all employees to work with whole-hearted efforts.
Welcoming the participants, Managing Director & CEO stated that Social Islami Bank has achieved steady growth in all of its business indicators through rendering modern and technology-based Islamic banking services at the doorstep of the people of the country.
Additional managing director, deputy managing directors, divisional heads, senior executives and all managers of 157 branches of the bank attended the programme. The conference reviewed overall progress of the bank during January-June 2019 and chalked out various policy measures for achieving yearly target for 2019 of the Bank.
