State Minister for Religion Faridul Haque Khan MP said that the present government is working tirelessly for the development of farmers. He said these things while distributing free fertilizers, pesticides and seeds among farmers in Islampur on Saturday. He also said that on the instructions of the government, loans are being given to the poor farmers of the country on easy terms with agricultural incentives. The food supply of the people of the country is ensured through farmers, so farmers are an important part of our nation. This is why Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the country will be saved if the farmer lives.
In Jamalpur's Islampur upazila, Faridul Haque Khan Dulal delivered the speech as the chief guest at the free fertilizer and seed distribution ceremony at the farmers' rally organized at Dulal Auditorial.Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner Sravasti Roy, Deputy Director of Jamalpur Agriculture Extension Zakia Sultana, Upazila Parishad Chairman SM Jamal Abdul Naser Babul, Municipal Mayor Abdul Quader Sheikh, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Abdul Khalek were special guests in the rally organized by Upazila Administration and Agriculture Extension Department Islampur. Upazila Awami League Vice President Jamal Abdun Nasser Chowdhury Charles, Upazila Krishak League President Nurul Islam and many others were present. At the end of the meeting, the chief guest distributed 20 kg of Bari-30 varieties of hot seeds, 10 kg of DMP and MOP fertilizers to 18 farmers of the upazila free of cost.
