Bowled is the most obvious method of dismissal in cricket. Not once, twice or thrice but it is six times in a row when Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal has been bowled out in last 40 days.
He has been a victim of Starc (AUS), Nabi (AFG), Shami (IND), Afridi (PAK), Malinga (SRI) and Isuru Udana (SRI).
"Clearly it is not his weakness", Tamim's elder brother Nafees Iqbal said, who too has played cricket for Bangladesh National Team, reports agencies.
See, if you look at his dismissals in recent past I thought he has been a very unlucky. Yes, he got out bowled in few occasions but if you see there were some play downs which is very unlucky way of getting out and few were gem of deliveries".
"Clearly he is going though a bad patch but I am proud that even in his bad patch he is averaging around 28/30. He is a quality player and no doubt he will overcome this very soon..it just a matter of time. Experts are there in the team and I am sure they are working on this". he further added.
