Joypurhat CRD School arranged a day-long fruit fair on the school premises at Dhanmondi area in the town on Saturday morning.
The school authority holds this fruit fair emphasizing the nutrition health of the children.
The students of the school participated in the fair with their own collection of different fruits that was displayed in the stalls.
The CRD School authorities, after visiting each stall, told the students collected the fruits and vegetables from the field. They were awarded by determining the position.
Md Zakir Hossain, as the judge in the competition, distributed the prizes among the winners.
It was attended by, among others, Dr Moniruzzaman Manik, President of the Board of Directors, Syeda Mehr Sultana, Vice Principal, Mahmudul Karim and many others.
60 kinds of seasonal and foreign fruits including Amalaki, Bedana, Dalim, Grapes, Dates, Papaya, Mango, Litchi, Pineapple, Watermelon and Jackfruit are available in fair.
An iftar and doa mahfil was held in the evening after the end of the fair.
