Fresher’s Reception of MBA program was held on the permanent campus at Northern University Bangladesh.
Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the ‘Fresher’s Reception Spring 2021 ceremony was held in the presence of the students following the proper hygiene rules at Friday 12th March, a press release said.
Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, NUB, was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (D) was present as the special guest.
Commodore (Retd.) M Munirul Islam, Registrar and Mr. Md. Tanjim Hossain, Head, Textile Engineering Department were also present as guests.
The program was presided over by Dr. Javed Mahmud, Head, DBA. Mr. Md. Sabirul Karim, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration hosted the program.
At first two admitted students conveyed their speeches. They were both thrilled to be part of the first batch of the MBA program at the permanent campus of Northern University Bangladesh.
In his speech, Honourable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain of Northern University Bangladesh highlighted the tradition and history of business administration education in Bangladesh.
He shed light on the importance and impact of this sector. He then formally welcomed the new students.
Special Guest Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam highlighted the recent achievements of Northern University and the features of the permanent campus. He emphasized concentrating on their studies.
