A fee medical camp was held at Piragati village of Shailkupa upazila in Jhenidah. Aftabuddin Foundation, a voluntary organization organized the camp to stand by the poor people in the locality. The organizers said 12 physicians including Shailkupa upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) Dr. Rashed Al Mamun participated the camp where about one thousand patients were examined or provided treatment free of cost.
A discussion meeting was held in the village with foundation president Asaduzzzmana in the chair. Deputy director of the department of social welfare Abdul Latif Sheikh attended as chief guest. Shailkupa upazila health and family planning officer Dr. Rashed Al Mamun, social welfare officer Mominur Rahman, Jhenidah Sadar hospital registrar Rumana Yesmin, actor Siddiqur Rahman among others spoke.
