A day-long free dental camp and medicine distribution program was held at Maligaon under Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla district on Saturday.
Maligaon 50-bed Govt Hospital organized the camp on its premises. The camp started at 9 am ended at 4 pm. Physicians during the program provided free treatment and medicines to around 1500 poor patients in the district. A team of 15 dental specialists led by Vice Chairman of Oral Centre Society Major General Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Dr. Fatema Farhana Sathi of Ibn Sina Medical College and Hospital and Dr. Fahmida Ferdousi of Bangladesh Oral Cancer Society provided treatment to the patients.
