At least four people were killed and 11 others were injured in a head-on-collision between a bus and a truck at Shonashur area in Sadar Upazila of Gopalganj on early Saturday.
The injured were admitted Gopalganj General Hospital.
The deceased were identified as Rasel, 24, son of Nur Islam, Bijon Hawlader, 25, son of Narayan Hawlader, Kamal Mandal, 25, son of Jasorath Mandal and Sub-Inspector Abdul Rashid of Gopalganj Police Lines.
Gopalganj Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Mohammad Jane Alam confirmed the matter.
Mohammad Jane Alam said Pirojpur bound bus collided head on with a truck at the area, leaving three people dead on the spot and 12 others injured.
Of the injured, SI Abdur Rashid died on way to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
