Four dead bodies recovered from three spots of Munshiganj


Four dead bodies have been recovered from three different places of Mushiganj and Sirajdikhan upazila on Wednesday (25 Nov.) morning. Of the recovered bodies, two belonged to females. 

It is learnt, around 11-00 am Sadar upazila Police recovered dead bodies of two persons- Dipra Majumder Joy (28) and Mitu Sarker (26) from a house at Bagmamduli-Golapara village. 

Dipra Majumder hailed from Sadar Dasskhin area of Cumilla whereas Mitu Sarker hailed from village Namkandi Fultola village of Musnhiganj. 

Family sources of the deceased said, both Mitu and Dipra were engaged in extra-marital relation and used to live at a rented house of Mitu Sarker. 

On the other hand, Officer-in-charge of Mushiganj Sadar police station informed, the CID Crime team members were on the way to Munshigang from Dhaka to investigate into the incident. However, detailed will be informed after the autopy of the dead bodies, he added. 

Meanwhile, the police of Sirajdikhan police station recovered a beheaded dead body of an unidentified woman (25) from inside a ditch of nearby pond around 10-00 am. At the same time, there is an allegation of killing of father Wahab Sarker(70) by his son Liakat Sarker(50) by hitting him with a stick over an altercation on the distribution of land at Kalipur village under Chitracourt union of the same upazila at 9-00 am on Wednesday. 

Confirming the incident, Rejaul Haque Dipu, Officer-in-charge of Sirajdikhan PS informed, the dead body of Wahab Sarker was recovered from the spot by Sirajdikhan thana police.
