A hapless father handed over his drug addict son to the mobile court in Tanore upazila on Monday morning. The on duty Magistrate of the mobile court awarded drug addict Ibrahim Mondal (27) son of Israel Mondol of Gollara area of Tanore sadar upazila one year of imprisonment.
Israel Mondal informed, getting addicted, Israel had been leading a miserable life and was imposing torture and pressure to family members on various ways for money to manage the price of drugs. Later on, getting no way to return his son to normal life, he informed the incident to the UNO of Tanore who instantly ordered Tanore thana police to arrest addicted Ibrahim.
Police presented arrested Ibrahim to UNO of Tanore Susanto Kumar Mahato who awarded him one year of imprisonment through forming a mobile court. Rakibul Hasan, Officer-in-charge of Tanore thana police informed, Ibrahim has been sent to Rajshahi jail through the court.
