A man and his three-year-old daughter were electrocuted at Dhopajangalia under Gouripur upazila in Mymensingh on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Asadul Islam, 45 and his daughter Jannatul Urmi.
Officer-In-Charge of Gouripur Police Station, Kamrul Islam Mia said Asadul and his minor daughter, who was on his lap, got electrocuted while giving power connection to an electric motor.
Asadul died on the spot while his injured daughter was taken to Gouripur Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared her dead.
