A farmer was electrocuted at Jhawgarchar village under Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj on Saturday noon. The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam Renu, 70, son of Late Mafiz Uddin of Jhawgarchar village under Pakundia Upazila in Kishoreganj district.
Sources said that he was working in the paddy field. At that time he come to a live electricity wire fallen in the paddy field and he was electrocuted and died in spot. Pakundia Police Station Inspector (Investigation) SM Shafiqul Islam confirmed this.
