An elder brother was stabbed to death by his younger at Chartaki village under Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj on Wednesday over family feud.
The victim was identified as Ali Asgar Mustafa Mukul, 62, son of Harun-or-Rashid in Chartaki village under Jangalia Union of Pakundia upazila in the district.
Pakundia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Mofizur Rahman said that on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered body.
Police also arrested the killer named Shamsul Muslimin Moti alias Kg Moti, 55. The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj 250 Bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was field with Pakundia Police Station in this connection.
