The Election Commission (EC) has asked the Election Commission secretariat and field officers to submit their wealth statement by November 30.
A letter signed by Deputy Secretary of Election Commission Shah Alam informed it on Sunday.
According to the EC, with the aim of preventing corruption and ensuring transparency and accountability of government employees, all government employees have been instructed by the Ministry of Public Administration to submit wealth statements from September 1. In this situation, in order to submit the assets statement of the election commission secretariat and all the officials and employees at the field level under its jurisdiction, according to the table 'Ka', 'Kha' and 'Ga' determined by the Ministry of Public Administration, the wealth statement acquired up to 30 June 2024 must be submitted by 30 November. For despatch, copies of the following letters (designated tables 'Ka', 'kha' and 'Ga') are sent as directed.
