A mobile court awarded one and half years imprisonment to a drug trader for selling and taking drugs at Keshabpur in Jashore on Saturday.
The convict was identified as Nuruzzaman Dhali, 30, son of Abdul Khalek Dhali of Altapole village of the upazila.
It was known that Nuruzzaman Dhali has been taking and selling drugs for a long time. Police arrested him on Saturday. Later, Executive Magistrate and Keshabpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Mizanur Rahman conducted a mobile court and sentenced the youth.
