DIU organizes seminar on the role of programming in ICT

Girls’ Computer & Programming Club in association with the department of Computer Science and Engineering of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a seminar titled "The Role of Programming in ICT Career" on Saturday at the DIU permanent campus.

Farhana A Rahman, senior vice president of BASIS and CEO and Chairperson of UY Systems Ltd was present as the keynote speaker in the seminar. She shared the role of programming along with other factors which are essential for the current job market in Bangladesh as well as in abroad. She also focuses on the key factors required to be an entrepreneur.

Students participated in the session enthusiastically and had an interactive session with the speaker. In the seminar, Professor Dr Mostafa Kamal, dean, Permanent Campus, Professor Dr Syed Akhter Hossain, head Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr Sheak Rashed Haider Noori, associate head, CSE, Dr S M Aminul Haque, associate head, CSE, permanent campus and faculty members from the department of CSE and SWE were also present during the session.
