David Miller joins Dhaka Dynamites for the upcoming BPL

Veteran South African batsman David Miller has joined Dhaka Dynamites for the upcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The signing comes a day after Khulna Titans signed former Australian cricketer Shane Watson.

The addition of Miller will strengthen Dhaka’s batting considering his significant experience of playing T20 cricket all over the globe. David Miller is a regular in the IPL playing for Kings XI Punjab and has played in the Vitality T20 Blast and various other tournaments. Miller played 290 T20Is games including 79 in the national jersey. Miller also has three centuries and 40 half-centuries to his name, including the total score of 6400 runs. Last time, Miller played in the BPL was in 2013 when he represented Chittagong Kings in three games scoring 40 runs.

David Miller has not been in the best of form in the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2019. He has scored only 146 runs with the highest score of 38 runs as South Africa bowed out fo the tournament without making it to the semifinals of the competition. He will have to improve a lot of his game and bolster the Dhaka Dynamites batting unit. Miller will play the full the edition of the BPL which will be a massive advantage for the side led by Eoin Morgan.

The seventh edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (IPL) will commence from December 6. The itinerary of the tournament is yet to come out.
