Coalition For the Urban Poor (CUP) arranged an Advocacy meeting at Dhamrai Paurashava Seminar Room on “Sanitation Rights of Urban Poor and Menstrual Hygiene Management” on Saturday last. UST-WSSCC supported the programme.
Mayor of Dhamrai Paurashava Md Golam Kobir was the chief guest of the programme.
Masuda Farouk Ratna, Freedom fighter & Executive Director, GBSS presided over the meeting. Khondker Rebaka Sun Yat, Executive Director, CUP moderated the session.
A paper on Sanitation Rights of Urban Ultra Poor and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM): An Observation on Dhamrai Pourasabha was presented by Mahmur Rashid, adviser, CUP. Word councilors of Dhamrai paurashava, civil society representatives, teachers, journalists, activists, human rights activist, students, among others, were also present in the meeting.
