The elections of Chittagong University Officers Association will be held today (Tuesday). The committee for 2020-2021 session will formed through the polls.
Voting will begin at 9:00 am and continue till 2:00 pm at office of the organisation on the campus. Deputy Registrar (Higher Education and Research) Md. Delwar is the Chief Election Commissioner. He said that a total of 29 candidates are contesting for 11 posts in the polls. Three candidates are vying for the post of President, while three for the post of Vice-President, seven for the post of General Secretary, three for the post of Assistant General Secretary, two for the post of Treasurer.
, two for the post of Organizational, Office and Publicity Secretary, three for the post of Social Welfare, Appeal and Cultural Secretary and six candidates are contesting for the post of four members.
