Cox's Bazar police hosts Iftar for journalists

Cox’s Bazar district police on Friday hosted an Iftar party in honour of journalists working in print and electronic media.  

Masud Hossain, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Cox’s Bazar, welcomed the guests. He also presided over the function.

In speech, the SP said that the police and journalists are complement for each other. The importance of both the professionals are immense to establish peace in the society. “I hope that the relationship between the two communities will reach a unique height, he said.

President of Cox's Bazar Press Club Mahbubur Rahman, General Secretary Abu Taher, other members of the press club, editors of local newspapers and journalists were present at the Iftar party.

Before the Iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking peace and prosperity of the country.
