Covid-19 infection rate has gradually been increased in Chattogram and its adjacent district in last one week.
A total of 33 people were detected positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours after testing 207 samples in 11 Covid-19 laboratories in the city and district.
The Covid-19 infection rate is 15.94 percent till Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, a total of 5.77 percent people were infected with Covid-19 on Friday, 4.65 percent on Thursday, 3.77 percent on Wednesday and 3.56 percent corona patients infected on Tuesday in Chattogram city and district.
The total number of Covid-19 patients climbed to 126,946 in Chattogram district after the detection of 33 new patients, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached 125,051 with the recovery of 17 more people till Sunday morning, raising the average recovery rate to 98.84 percent in the district.
With no new deaths recorded during the period, the death toll remains steady with 1,362.
