Covid-19 claims three more lives in N’ganj

In last twenty four hours in Narayanganj three more COVID-19 patients died and now death figure rises to sixty nine in total.

According to district health department, the death toll rises to 69, recovered 616 and infected patients 1917 till Friday. 

It is learned that all the three patients that died of COVID-19 in last 24 hours were the inhabitants of Narayanganj city area. 

The COVID-19 survivor Dr. Goutom Roy superintendent of Khanpur 300 bed hospital after joining his job told the media with inspiring that COVID-19 patient doesn’t mean a death. He added a tale of his 2 days’ isolation life in his own dormitory alone, taking some medicine following the health rule and using hot water more and more. 

He emphasized on maintain psychological stamina, taking vapor of hot water and have to a physical distance. Dr. Roy further said, “My wife, son and daughter live in Sylhet so I am alone in Narayanganj and when the family members knew that I am novel corona virus infected then they were in tense. But I managed to make them understand that it’s not a fatal disease at all, so you need not   worry.” 

“I was infected on April 14 and came round on May 16 after finding report twice that corona infection status report was negative. I am doing my job in full swing”, Dr. Roy said.

Narayanganj police super Jayedul Alam awares the people of Narayanganj not to move here and there even in name of enjoying Eid festival as all the amusement centers of district immediately closed. 

Meanwhile Deputy Commissner of Narayanganj Mohammad Jasimuddin addressed that buying dress is not more important than life so he advised all to stay at home instead of moving unnecessarily.
