CMP will supervise Armed Police at airport

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) will supervise 200 members of the Armed Police Battalion (APBN), acting at Chittagong's Shah Amanat International Airport.

A meeting was held at the CMP Commissioner's Office on Tuesday to strengthen the security of Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport.

CMP Commissioner Mahbubur Rahman presided over the meeting, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (Crime and Expedition) Amena Begum, and delegates from BGB, DGFI, NSI, Shah Amanat International Airport, APBN, Ansar and BDP were present in the meeting.

On May 9, a letter from the Police Headquarters was entrusted to the Armed Police Battalion Officer and the Force Command and Control CMP Commissioner of Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport.

CMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations) Abu Bakar Siddique said coordination meeting was held to strengthen the security of Shah Amanat International Airport. The meeting discussed the various problems and solutions of the airport.

Shah Amanat International Airport Safety Officer Shahidul Islam said that the CMP commissioner supervised APBN members at the airport. The CMP commissioner's command will work on the security of the airport.
