It is good to note that the government has undertaken steps for establishing climate justice to sustain the agricultural production and food security by tackling the adverse effects of climate change.

Bangladesh has very little role to play in global climate change, but the country is one of the countries most affected by climate change. Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading the Climate Vulnerable Forum.

Bangladesh wants to make agricultural production sustainable through innovation of climate smart technology. As part of its move, the Mujib Climate Prosperity Plan and Delta Plan 2100 has been made.

We have to make sure that the farmers are

able to produce products on a uniform scale and excellence

Projects should launched which will rehabilitate and modernise public Flood Control, Drainage, and Irrigation (FCDI) infrastructures.

Climate-resilient water management will ensure income growth, protect livelihoods and build resilience of the local communities to climate change.

Government should make sure that such projects are implemented as soon as possible as in our country the farmers are badly harmed by the adverse effects of climate change. For Bangladesh to enter this new phase of development we have to integrate the methods of comprehensive growth. We have to achieve transformative flexibility to natural disasters and climate effects. This will ultimately move us rapidly towards sustainable development.

We have to make sure that the farmers are able to produce products on a uniform scale and excellence. Our goal should be to build sustainable food production methods for farmers while safeguarding safe food for consumers.
