A total of 12,614 diabetes patients have been treated and 633 new patients have been registered at Chuadanga Diabetic Center under Chuadanga Diabetic Association (CDA) between January and December of 2020 according to the annual report of the association.
This information was given in the annual meeting of the association, held on the compound of the association on Saturday. The meeting was presided over by Reazul Islam Joarder Toton, President of the association and Joint Secretary of District Awami League. Advocate Mohammad Shamsuzzoha, General Secretary of the association, presented the
annual report.
A discussion meeting was arranged on the occasion. Shahidul Islam Shahan, Joint Secretary Adv.
Wahiduzzaman Bula, Executive Committee Member Mofizur Rahman Mona, Nutritionist Umme Atika Mollik Akhi and others addressed the meeting.
Later an open discussion was held there. Munsi Alamgir Hannan, Organizing Secretary of District Awami League, Adv. Selim Uddin Khan, Mohammad Alauddin, the Bangladesh Post’s Chuadanga Correspondent, Salauddin Md. Mortuza and Asaduzzaman took part at the open discussion.
Reazul Islam Joarder Toton, President of the association said, “We are trying to upgrade the diabetic center as Diabetic Hospital under the assistance of Chuadanga-1 MP Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun”.
