The annual meeting of Chuadanga Diabetic Association was held at its compound on Saturday.
The aim of the organisation is better treatment for the diabetic patients from 1998. At least 24,876 diabetic patients are registered with centre from January 2023 to January 2024, it has known from its annual meeting of Chuadanga Diabetic Association.
The meeting was presided over by Riazul Islam Joarder Toton, President of the association. Adv. Mohammad Shamsuzzaha, General Secretary, read out the annual report.
Md. Alauddin Hela, declared audit report and probably budget of the association. Azad Malita, Vice President, addressed at the meeting. Munsi Alamgir Hannan, Vice President, Shahidul Islam Sahan, Joint Secretary, Adv. Selimuddin Khan, member, Adv. Aksizul Islam Roton, member, Adv. Rafiqul Islam, member, Dr. Fokir Mohammed, member, AHMM Kamal Tuhin, member and Adv. Belal Hossain, PP of Chuadanga Judge Court were present at the meeting. Over 262 poor people of the areas has been treated at free of cost.
On the other hand 4,196 diabetic patients of the association have been given discount at Tk 3,19,375.
At least 15,413 diabetic patients are treated at the clinic in 2023.
It may be mentioned here, 24,876 persons have been registered for diabetic with the diabetic centre. Of the total 1380 diabetic patients are registered with the centre.
