The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved a project for illumination of 466 kilometers of roads with the help of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) LED lamp.
On Tuesday, the approval was approved for the project of 260 crore, said Chief Executive Officer of CCC, Md Samsuddoha.
CCC provides Tk27 crore for 58 km LED road lights.
He said, after taking the responsibility as a Mayor, AJM Nasir Uddin took initiative to illuminate the road with environment-friendly, electrifying and sustainable technology LED lights. In the meantime, 16 kilometer from the revenue fund and 58 kilometers road under the project was brought under the LED.
