A survey workshop and discussion titled "No risk of death if Covid-19 vaccine is taken" was held to combat the second wave of global pandemic corona virus organized by Alpha H & E Development Ltd.'s affiliated institute "Amra Gram Doctor Bangladesh" on Thursday at a Chinese Restaurant in Dinajpur Bahadur.
Farhad Hossain of Bochaganj Upazila recited from the Holy Quran and Jhari Rani of Birganj Upazila recited from the Holy Gita at the event.
SN Akash, Chairman of Alpha H & E Development Ltd. was present there as the chief guest. Md. Nurul Huda Dulal, Project Director of Alpha H & E Development Ltd, Vice President of Dinajpur Press Club, and News Editor of Weekly Awami Kantha, Mohammad Ali, Advisor to the Company, Md. Shahinur Islam, Communication Officer (CO), Mausumi Akhter and Md. Hira were also present among others.
The event was chaired by CO Md. Shahinur Islam. Halima Begum Sadia, Managing Director of the company, expressed sorrow for not being able to attend the function due to illness.
The speakers said, everyone must accept that the corona vaccine has been brought to the country with great difficulty by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This vaccine is not life-threatening. Do not listen to any rumors. Speakers also said that it is important to have regular cleanliness to deal with the second wave of corona. Washing hands, using hand sanitizer and face mask when going out is a must. We have not received any incentive from the Prime Minister so far.
Village doctors are providing service to the people risking their lives all over the country.Project Director Md. Nurul Huda said Bangladesh Technical Training and Progress Center has been a blessing for unemployed youth since 1996. Millions of students and unemployed youth have become self-reliant with various trainings including computer, rural physician RMP, LMAFP, DMA, primary veterinarian, land survey, electric and house wiring. Officials of 8 districts of Rangpur division were present on the occasion. At the end of the program, a feast was organized with the officers and colleagues from different districts and sub-districts. Diaries, bags and other accessories were distributed among the guests.
