A human chain was formed in Gopalganj to protest the brutal murder of a businessman and to demand justice.
The hour-long human chain was formed on the road in front of Gopalganj Press Club at 10 am on Wednesday. Deceased Khasrul Fakir's wife, children, people of different professions and hundreds of locals took part in the human chain.
At the end of the human chain, they carried out a procession towards Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner's Office and protested.
Later, they handed over a memorandum to the Prime Minister through Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner demanding justice for Khasrul's murder.
On last Friday, August 6, businessman Khasrul Fakir, 54, was hacked to death by his opponents due to former enmity.
