State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak stressed on building young generation as efficient with ICT-based knowledge.

He said, "52 years ago from now Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman realised that our new generation should be built up as efficient people.

So in his historical speech on the day of his home coming on 10th January, 1972 he gave a guidelines  only in four lines about how future Bangladesh would be and he said that our independence would never be completed if my farmers and labourers can not get full-belly food, if my mothers and sisters cannot get their wearing clothes, if my young people donot get jobs. Bangabandhu took up providing young generation with jobs as one of his aims.

"Bangabandhu also said, we need golden people to build up golden Bangladesh," the state minister added.

He said this while inaugurating a mango fair and Rajshahi divisional entrepreneurs conference as the chief guest on Saturday.

Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo Foundation arranged it at Chapainawabganj Town Club in association with Chapainawabganj district administration.

Palak said, a BCS cadre gets a total of Tk. 30,000 as monthly salary after 16 years' education but the entrepreneurs in Chapainawabganj are selling mangoes at online, doing digital marketing, exporting mangoes and also preparing pickles from mangoes and earning from 50,000 to 2 lac taka per month.

He added that Bangladesh became a medium income country from a poor and least developed country only for the honesty, labour and farsightedness of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

One government killed people as they demanded electricity but another prime minister works day and night to reach electricity to every house, he further added.

There was no electricity in 40 percent  houses in the country 14 years ago but Sheikh Hasina has given electricity to cent percent houses, he said again.

He asked the audience if there is any alternative to the leadership of Sheikh Hasina for Bangladesh to overcome the global crises of corona and Russia - Ukraine war.

He also assured of giving Tk. 50,000 to each of 20 women entrepreneurs within one month and 100 women entrepreneurs within six months, construction of four Joy Smart Service Employment and Training Centres at a cost of Tk. 8 crore and constitution of a twelve storeyed Sheikh Kamal IT training and incubation centre on two acres of land at a cost of Tk. 142 crore.
