As a part of the observance Birth Centenary of Bangabandhu, Gopalganj District Administration distributed books on Bangabandhu among some 500 students of five schools of Gopalganj at Sheikh Moni auditorium of the district on Monday.
The books include 'Incomplete autobiography' (Osomapto Atmajibonee) and 'Diary of the Jail' (Karagarer Roznamcha).
Presided over by Shahida Sultana, Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj, the book distribution function was attended and adressed, among others, by Professor Dr. AQM Mahboob, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Science and Technology University, Mahbub Ali Khan, President of district AL, Kazi Liakat Ali, Mayor of Gopalganj Municipality, Professor Dr. Khan Golam Mostafa, Principal of Sheikh Sayera Khatun Medical College, Abu Yousuf Rezaur Rahman, Chief Executive of Zila Parishad, Sanowar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police of Gopalganj and Iliasur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Goplaganj.
The function was conducted by Farzana Bobby Mitu, Assistant Commissioner of Gopalganj.
