Speakers at a workshop on Tuesday said someone has to use the OSS service of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) in getting transparent, speedy and smart investment services.
They said investors will get all types of services in terms of any sorts of their investment from the same platform staying at home.
Bangladesh Investment Development Authority in support with of International Labor Organization (ILO) organized the workshop at Hotel Agrabad in the port city of Chittagong to inform about the overall activities of BIDA's Online One Stop Service (OSS) Portal. BIDA executive member Mohsina Yasmin presided over the workshop, chaired by Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Aminur Rahman NDC. Apart from this, Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Md Mahbubul Alam, Vice President Syed Md Tanveer, Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abida Sultana, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakib Hasan, ILO Program Officer Md Borhan Uddin and Chittagong Divisional Office (BIDA) were special guests. Director Mohammad Moazzem Hossain spoke.
At the workshop, BIDA Executive Member (Additional Secretary) Dr. Khandkar Azizul Islam said, " As we are now moving toward building Smart Bangladesh, all the services will be smart, through the BIDA online one stop service portal, investors will get all types of investment services at home from the same platform”.
In the speech of the special guest, Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Md. Mahbubul Alam said, to get investment services quickly, we have to get services digitally.
BIDA Executive Member Mohsina Yasmin said as the chief guest, "Prime Minister presented the Smart Bangladesh vision before us, one of the main thing to building Smart Bangladesh is modern investment system, and BIDA is working to digitize the investment services technologically.
Mentioning that BIDA's OSS is to be used to get transparent fast hassle free smart investment services in short time with low cost, BIDA is always committed to provide world class digital services to investors, she called upon the investors to avoid the third party and take services directly through BIDA OSS.
Chittagong Divisional Commissioner said in the president's speech. Md. Aminur Rahman NDC said "BIDA is progressing well, BIDA activities are very dynamic in increasing investment in Bangladesh. BIDA's OSS has been providing the highest digital investment services to the investors, so we have to use the technology to the maximum in receiving the services in the current technology era.
