Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) brought out a jubilant procession carrying banners, festoons and band parties on the university campus on Saturday marking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 73rd birthday.
The procession began from transport premises and ended with a brief rally at the Sheikh Hasina hall premises after marching on different streets of the campus.
Addressing at the rally, president of JU unit of BCL Jewel Rana said, "On the occasion of Sheikh Hasina's birthday, JU BCL has arranged various programme. As a part of this, we have brought out today's jubilant procession. We wish sound health and longevity of our honorable leader Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”.
After the procession, JU Unit of BCL held a tree plantation programme in front of Sheikh Hasina hall.
Led by JU BCL president Jewel Rana, over 350 leaders and activists from both male and female halls were present at the procession.
