The Floriculture Division of the Horticulture Research Center of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) arranged a trainers training workshop at the seminar room of the Horticulture Research Centre in Gazipur on Tuesday.
A total of 30 representatives from BARI, Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) and various NGOs participated in the training workshop.
BARI Director (Support & Services) Md Habibur Rahman Sheikh inaugurated the training workshop as the chief guest.
Chief Scientific Officer of Floriculture Division and Project Director Dr. Kabita Anju-Man-Ara presided over the function while Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam and Director (Tuber Crops Research Centre) Dr SM Shrifuzzaman was present as special guest.
Principal Scientific Officer of the Floriculture Division Dr. Farjana Nasrin Khan with scientists, officers, among others, were also present on the occasion.
They took part in discussion on flower production.
