Dhaka University Energy Institution organise a seminar on ‘Bangladesh Sustainable Energy Week’ on Friday at Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban at University of Dhaka.
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam attended the seminar as the chief guest.
Mayor Md Atiqul Islam urged city-dwellers to help to implement different initiatives to build Dhaka as the ‘Green and Smart city’.
“City Corporation will take necessary actions to prevent posturing in inappropriate places.” He warned urging citizens from abstaining from any activities that harm city’s beauty.
Dhaka University pro-vice chancellor (Education) professor ASM Maksud Kamal chaired the seminar while Bangladesh Climate Bangladesh president Tanvir Shakil Joy MP, Water Aid Bangladesh Country Director Hasin Jahan, Bangladesh Solar and Renewable Energy Association chief advisor Dipal Chandra Barua spoke to the seminar.
DU pro-vice chancellor (Education) professor ASM Maksud Kamal emphasized on new innovations and research to build smart Bangladesh.
