Cyber drill organized by the BGD eGov CIRT to test the capability of financial sector in Bangladesh. The exercise simulated incidents and issues that exist on the Internet and participants handled 6 cases of a local business affected by ransomware, malware etc infection which triggered data breach.
"This cyber drill is the first ever competition between 35 teams from 20 financial institutions and 15 other organizations to test their cyber capabilities. In the aftermath of the Bangladesh Bank heist and recent threats on the financial institutions the cyber drills are essential for improving cyber resilience amongst the critical information infrastructures.
