Bangabandhu Parishad has started its formal activities by forming 41-member committee at Islamic Arabic University (IAU) in the capital.
Member of IAU planning and development department Shamim Hossain Khan has been made the president and lecturer of Arbic department Zahirul Islam Khan has been picked as general secretary in the newly formed committee.
Besides, Md Hafizul Islam Hafiz has been made organizing secretary and Md Abdul Hannan Sabbir has been made the office secretary in the new committee.
Bangabandhu Parishad central general secretary SM Malek approved the organization’s formal activities at the university on January 28.
Acting President Shamim Hossain Khan said, “I had done various responsibilities entrust to me while I was a member of Bangladesh Chhatra League during my student life. I will also try my best to do my duty as before. My first responsibility is to inspire all the members of Fazil, Kamil and Degree Madrasas affiliated to the Islamic Arabic University with the spirit of liberation war.”
Shamim Khan was the Deputy Sports Secretary of the Central BCL and the convener of the BCL at IAU. On the other hand, Zahirul Islam Khan was the Deputy Secretary of the Central BCL.
