Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed on Sunday returned to the country after an official visit to Singapore.
Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) press release on Monday said it.
During his visit in Singapore, General Shafiuddin attended the 'International Institute for Strategic Studies Shangri-La Dialogue 21st Asia Security Summit-2024' held in Singapore from May 31 to June 2 this month.
The conference discussed regional security risks in Asia, important military issues and the determination of joint approaches to counter the risks.
Besides, the Army chief also held bilateral meetings with Germany's State Minister for Defense and high-ranking military and civilian officials, including army chiefs from various countries.
He went to Singapore on an official visit on May 30, said ISPR
