Ali Karim obtains PhD degree

Md Ali Karim, an assistant professor at Bangladesh Open University; has obtained PhD degree under the Department of Islamic History and Culture of Dhaka University. 

The topic of his research work was on “Impact of Rohingya Refugees on Socio-economic Aspects of Bangladesh”.  Prof. Dr. Ataur Rahman Bishwas was his research superviser. 

Born in 1979 in Magura, Dr Md Ali Karim is the youngest son of Md. Golam Rashid, a freedom fighter and Rabeya Khatun.

He passed SSC examination from Magura Govt. Boys High School in 1995 and HSC examination from Magura Govt. Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy College in 1997.

He obtained both BA Hons.and Master degrees from the same department of Dhaka University in 2004 and 2005 respectively.
