Air chief returns from India

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat  on Saturday returned home from India by a BAF AN-32 aircraft.

During the visit,  he witnessed the aerial display of various aircraft and visited the pavilions of different world-renowned military equipment manufacturer companies, said ISPR.

Besides, the Air Chief  attended various seminars, video tele conference (VTC) and gave a presentation on the topic on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Activities’ in the Indian Ocean Region Defence Ministers’ Conclave. 

During the visit, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat called on Chief of Defence Staff of India General Bipin Rawat,  Chief of the Air Staff of Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal R K S Bhadauria, and Chief of Army Staff of Indian Army General Manoj Mukund Naravane, and exchanged views on different issues of bi-lateral interests. In the air show, he also exchanged views on professional matters with senior military and civil officials from different participating countries. It is expected that the visit of the Chief of Air Staff of  BAF will strengthen the existing cordial relationship between Bangladesh and India by expanding the scope of mutual cooperation in the professional sectors. 

His visit will also play an important role for strengthening the relationship among the Air Forces of participating countries. 

It is mentionable that Chief of Air Staff  BAF left Dhaka for India by a BAF AN-32 aircraft on Tuesday on an official visit to attend the ‘‘The 13th Edition of the Biennial Air Show and Aviation Exhibition, Aero India-2021” accepting the invitation of the Chief of Air Staff of Indian Air Force.
