Ad-Din Hospital launches dialysis unit

Helpless, poor patients will get service at only Tk 250

A state-of-the-art Kidney Dialysis Ward and Coronary Care Unit was inaugurated at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital in city’s Moghbazar area on Thursday morning. 

Mrs. Sakina Khatun, wife of late industrialist Sheikh Akij Uddin, officially inaugurated the new units as the chief guest. A men's ward was also inaugurated at this time. 

Ad-Din Foundation Executive Director Dr Sheikh Mohiuddin, Executive Director of Ad-Din Pharmaceuticals Prof Dr Jamalunnesa, Ad-Din Medical Colleges Advisor Anwar Hossain Munshi, Ad-Din Women's Medical College Principal Prof Md Afiqur Rahman and Director General of Ad-Din Hospitals Prof Dr Nahid Yasmin among others were present at the time. Ad-Din Foundation Executive Director Dr Sheikh Mohiuddin said, “We want to work in the service of the people. I want to achieve the satisfaction of Allah through the service of people. A long-cherished dream came true with the inauguration of the Kidney Dialysis Ward and Coronary Care Unit. Kidney patients will now be able to get advanced treatment at Ad-Din Hospital at a nominal price. Here the helpless poor patients will get kidney dialysis service for only Tk 250.”
