704 tonnes of rice allocated for Chandpur

Under the VGF program for flood and extremely poor and other helpless families in Chandpur on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, 704.180 metric tons of rice has been allocated against  70,418 VGF cards in 8 upazilas of Chandpur district. 

The information was received from the Chandpur District Disaster Management and Relief Branch on Wednesday 29 July.  

According to the Chandpur District Relief and Rehabilitation Office, instructions have been given to distribute the rice before the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

According to the information received, 109.770 metric tons against 10, 98 cards in Chandpur Sadar, 98.850 metric tons against 9,885 cards in Faridganj, 32.810 metric tons against 3,281 cards in Haimchar, 96.220 Metric tons for 9,622 cards in Hajiganj, 126. 930 metric tons against 12,693 cards in Kachua, 77.560 tons for 7,756 cards against the north, 102.850 MT against 10,285 cards in Matlob   south   and 59.190 MT against 5,919 cards in Shahrashti have already been allotted. 

It has been said that allocation should be distributed among the very poor people of their respective unions by fulfilling at least four conditions.
