Present government under the dynamic and prudent leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been ensuring fundamental rights of the homeless and landless families through implementation of Ashrayan Project throughout the country.
In Phases, all of the landless and homeless people will get brick-built houses as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has a commitment of doing the same successfully.
Secretary at the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Kamrul Hassan came up with the observation while distributing rice and blanket among the beneficiaries of Gorbari Ashrayan Project under Godagari Upazila in Rajshahi district on Wednesday afternoon as chief guest.
On the occasion, each of the 65 families was given 15 kilograms of rice and one blanket on the occasion of Mujib Barsha.
Commissioner of Rajshahi division GSM Zafarullah, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration Nabirul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Jalil and Additional Deputy Commissioner Shariful Haque also spoke on the occasion with Godagari UNO Jane Alam in the chair.
Kamrul Hassan termed the implementation of the ashrayan project as the bravery and well-thinking steps of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said a total of 4,321 families have been detected as homeless in Rajshahi district and all of them will get houses under the Ashrayan Project.
