In protest of Jhalokati’s five freedom fighters’ names being included in Razakar list published by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, a human chain was organized in Jhalokati on Thursday morning by local freedom fighters and their families. The former Commander of Jhalokati Muktijoddha Sangsad, Sayed Shamsul Alam and former Commander of Razapur Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad, Enayet Hossain Khan and three other freedom fighters names were included in that list.
Razapur Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad organized the human chain on the road in front of Razapur press club. Among others, Deputy Commander of District Muktijoddha Sangsad, Dulal Saha and former Commander of Razapur Muktijoddha Sangsad, Enayet Hossain Khan spoke in the event.
The speakers demanded punishment for those responsible for this incident at that time.
