4 Jhenidah teachers, employees sent to jail for ‘molesting headmistress’

Four including two teachers, a clerk and a peon of Shailkupa Girls’ High School in Jhenidah were sent to prison when a court in Jhenidah rejected their bail petition to an abuse case filed by the headmaster of the school. The judge of Women and Child Repression Tribunal gave the verdict on Sunday afternoon. The accused were assistant headmaster Fazlur Rahman, assistant teacher Rabiul Islam, clerk Abul Klam Azad and peon of the school Saidul Islam.

The prosecution in brief the accused four and three other staff of the school had confined headmistress Dilruba Yesmin in her school a few months back and tried to abuse her. The court receiving the allegation had summoned on the accused.
The court had granted the bail of one of the accused China Afroz and sent four to the prison rejecting their bail petitions when they appeared before the court on Sunday afternoon.
