RAB-6 detained three persons along with yaba tablets and country made local wine in separate drives from Durgapur village and Rail Bazar area under Darshana police station of Chuadanga on Thursday.
A team of RAB-6, led by Company Commander Md. Kamaluddin and Squad Commander HM Shafiqur Rahman, raided Durgapur village under Darshana police station in the afternoon and held Shohag Mondal, son of Moslem Mondal of Thakurpur village under Darshana police station. Searching his body RAB members recovered 260 pieces of yaba tablets from his possession.
The same team raided Rail Bazaar Area under Darshana police station on secret information and held Imran, son of Aynal Hoque of Kundipur village and Younus Mir, son of Islam Mir of Darshana Thana Para along with 90 liters of country made wine.
Separate cases were registered with Darshana police station in this regard and the detainees were handed over to police.
