Two activists of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS) were shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati on Tuesday night.
The deceased were identified as Ripel Chakma, 25, and Barshan Chakma, 24, members of PCJSS (MN Larma).
Local people said some activists of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) stormed a house in Nabochhara area around 9pm and opened fire on Ripel and Barshan, leaving them dead on the scene.
Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Baghaichhari Police Station MA Manjurul Alam said police and BGB members went to the backwood area to recover the bodies.
