The police in Jhenidah have arrested two murder case accused from Gopalpur village of Damurhuda police station under Chuadanga on Monday morning. The arrested duo was identified as Tasir Mandal, 26, son of Abdul Majid Mandal and Rashed Mandal , both from Muraridah village. They were arrested over the murder case of a farmer Sabuj Hossain of Charmuraridah village of Jhenidah Sadar upazila. They were hiding immediate after the killing incident.
Abul Bashar, additional superintendent of police in Jhenidah Sadar circle, said they had detected the presence of the killers by cellular phone tracking. Later a contingent of police led by Jhenidah Sadar police station inspector (investigation) Emdadul Haque, inspector (operation) Abul Khayer and sub inspector Sakhawat Hossain has arrested the duo from a house at Gopalpur under bordering Damurhuada of Chuadanga.
Mention may be made that farmer Sabuj Hossain of Muraridah village was killed by his neighbors on February 6 last afternoon following damage of crops by his goat. Three others sustained injuries during the time, the police said.
