A mobile court on Sunday sent two persons to jail for a day after Aedes mosquito larvae were found at their houses under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), reports BSS.
They were Saju and M Nazrul Islam from Mirpur road area.
A total of five mobile courts conducted different drives on Sunday at 198 drives at several areas and sent to jail two persons and warned five building owners. A fine of Taka 36,000 was imposed to six house owners including Chamelibagh Concord Twin Tower.
Till now, DSCC mobile courts have visited a total of 75,243 buildings and sent four persons to jail. They also warned 16 building owners and fined them Taka 31.90 lakh.
